Santa gave Hailey a Beta Fish Kit for Christmas so today we went to the mall to find a fish.



She took her new fish to see, "Alvin and the Chipmunks". The movie was dubbed in Spanish. Those chipmunks spoke so fast that I couldn't keep up!! Just when I thought Hailey wasn't understanding, she looked at me and said, "That's not his mom on the phone." What do you know, even Hailey understands more than I do.

We invited Mary and Jeff over for dinner.

Finally, my torture is over. I have successfully completed Anatomy I and Anatomy II. Now on to Micro.

Friday night, we had the office Christmas party at our house but I was an idiot and deleted the pictures. Kevin even set the microwave on fire :o)!

Last night we went to see the Children's Museum.



Nothing spectacular but nice for Costa Rica.



Tonight, we invited Marlo and Susy over for dinner. It is so hard because they don't speak any English but they are such nice people. Next week Susy is going to help me with my Spanish. YEAH!



Hailey made this candle at school. She went to the eye doctor last week and he wants her to patch her eye for another 3 months. Luckily, Hailey is so easy going that she doesn't fight it.

Being born and raised in Arizona, this amazes me....



This is a candle that Hailey made in school. It only took 4 days for the mold to grow and we are in the dry season.. Correction, Jen told me that this wasn't a candle. It was some kind of jelly that the kids were supposed to eat. Oops!

Last week, Jen, Andrea, and I, dropped the kids off at Preschool and then we headed over to Pefi's farm (a local artist). Rob went too :o)!

After the party, Hailey and Colin were really quiet so I went to check on them and I found sitting like this chatting away

At 7:05am, Hailey turned 5! We are having her party today after school. Hailey is our shy girl that didn't even want a party but I talked her into having a few friends from school. It is amazing how different our girls are. Lauren would invite everyone in Costa Rica if she could!



2 hours old

Now for some sad news, my 92 year old Grandpa fell on Friday and broke 2 cervical vertebrae in his neck. Since he is 92, they  can't do surgery so we just have to wait and see. GET WELL SOON GRANDPA-GREAT GRANDPA!!!

Lauren was sick so she stayed home and played XBOX with Kevin.
